Additional informtion regarding installation:

As this is a universal kit the mounting position will change from cart to cart.

The goal for this switch is for the plunger to activate when the pedal is pressed down.  You will hear a click once the plunger is activated.  When the pedal returns to its upright position, the plunger will de-activate the switch.  I would follow these steps to mount the switch

1. Chock the wheels to prevent the cart from rolling.
2. Install the clip between the two nuts as shown in the attached photo.
3. Put the brake pedal in the upright position.
4. Place the bracket assembly in the area similar to what’s shown in the diagram.  Pull the bracket towards the rear of the cart to put tension on the spring, but not enough to pull the plunger.
5. Hold the bracket still and press the brake pedal.  This should pull the plunger and activate the switch.  You will have to adjust the position of the bracket in order to find the right spot. Mount the bracket in the desired location.
6. Connect the wires following the wiring diagram. 
7. Mount the time delay in an area free and clear of moving parts.
8. Use wire ties to secure any loose wires away from any moving parts.
